Hello, how can we help you?

How to receive payments via PayPal

Depending on your region and signup date, PayPal may not be available as a payout method.

Quick answer

From 13 May 2026, sellers paid via PayPal will follow our standard Reverb Payments timeline. The main difference is that your earnings are approved based on the tracking status of your package on your order. For first-time sellers, funds are sent to your PayPal account once the item has been delivered. After your first sale, funds are sent once the item is in transit. This means adding tracking information to your orders is required in order to get paid.

To activate PayPal:

  1. Go to your Shop Settings Page.
  2. Select Policies.
  3. Enter your PayPal details and give permission for PayPal to connect with Reverb.
  4. Select Save Changes.
  5. Make sure you have a billing card on file.

How long does it take to get paid?

For your first sale, funds will be sent to your PayPal account after successful delivery of the item, according to the tracking information on your order. After your first sale, funds will be sent once you provide a valid tracking number showing the package is moving. Once your payment is approved by our team, it is sent to your PayPal account straight away. For questions about when your funds will be available, contact PayPal directly.

I still haven’t received payment. What are the next steps?

  • Make sure you have entered the correct tracking information on the order page.
  • Go to your Shop Policies page to check you entered the correct PayPal account (the correct email address must be entered before the order was created for the funds to clear in full).
    • If you see that you have an incorrect PayPal email address on file, update your email on Reverb and contact PayPal to locate your funds. If there are still issues, contact Reverb Support to make sure you get paid.
  • Contact PayPal to check your payment hasn't gone towards any negative balances in your PayPal account.
  • If the payment is pending, the buyer may have paid using a PayPal eCheque, which usually takes about 4-7 business days to clear.
