How does local pickup work?
Once you and the buyer have agreed to a local pickup, the buyer can go ahead and pay through Reverb. When the payment has cleared, Reverb will let you know by email and in-app notifications when it’s time to meet the buyer and finish the transaction.
When arranging the local pickup, all communication should be done directly through Reverb messages and you should never exchange personal contact details.
How do you get paid?
We need confirmation from the buyer that they’ve received the item before we can release your funds. All orders eligible for local pickup will have a Mark as Received button on the buyer’s Purchases page on the main website and mobile site. This isn’t available on the mobile app just yet.
Once the order is marked as received, your earnings will be approved.
We recommend asking the buyer to confirm delivery on their Purchases page before they leave with the item.
If the buyer is having trouble finding the Mark as Received button on their Purchases page, there are other ways to confirm pickup:
- The buyer can send a direct message on the order confirming they’ve received the item.
- The buyer can leave feedback on the order confirming delivery.
- The buyer can contact Reverb Support to confirm delivery.
If either of the first two options happen, contact Reverb Support so we can manually approve your payment.
