Hello, how can we help you?

Using the notifications centre

Quick answer

The notifications centre is your one place to keep up with everything happening on Reverb — everything from offers, messages, price drops on listings you've saved, order updates, and anything your account needs from you. It works the same way on the Reverb website and the Reverb app.

Finding your notifications

Tap or click the bell icon at the top of the screen.

  • On the web, the notifications centre opens as a panel.
  • In the app, it opens as its own screen.

What you'll see

Notifications are grouped into three sections, so the most urgent items are always easy to spot.

Account actions

These are actions within your account that need your attention and are shown as a banner at the top. These stay displayed until they’re resolved.

Some action examples: Verifying your identity, updating an expired credit card, adding or correcting bank details, or providing tax information.

Tasks

These are things waiting on a response from you, with a counter showing how many are open. The counter goes down as you work through these tasks (i.e. reading a message, responding to an offer, dispatching an order).

Some task examples: Unread messages, offers awaiting your reply, refund requests, and orders to dispatch.

Updates related to your Reverb activity

This is everything worth knowing about: Price drops on listings you've saved, matches for your saved searches, sales, and more.

These activity notifications show as unread until you click into them. To clear them all at once, select Mark all as read.

What's not in the notifications centre

Messages themselves still live separately. You'll get a task letting you know you have unread messages, but conversations live in your inbox. Notifications are updates from Reverb about buying, selling, and your account.
