Why do I need a credit card on file to list an item on Reverb?

In order to collect any bump fees, shipping label fees, or Reverb's 3.5% selling fee at the end of each month, Reverb requires a credit or debit card on file with your account as a seller. To adjust your billing preferences or change your billing card on file, head to this page in your Reverb account.

NOTE: If you’re located in the United States and you set up your payment method as Reverb Direct Checkout on or after March 7th, 2017, Reverb's 3.5% selling fee will be deducted from your payout instead of being added to your monthly statement. If you sold your first item via Direct Checkout prior to that day, if you’re outside the US, or if you only accept PayPal, your 3.5% selling fee will be added to your monthly statement. You can always view the details of any payout on your Earnings Tab in your Reverb account.
