There are several reasons why Reverb may lock your account:
- Your seller information needs to be verified to meet requirements for the INFORM Consumers Act, Digital Services Act, or DAC7 tax requirements.
- Your listing(s) need to be updated to abide by our Listings Guidelines.
- You’ve engaged in activity that violates our Terms & Policies.
How do I unlock my account?
If your account is locked because you haven’t met requirements for the INFORM Consumers Act or DAC7, follow these steps:
- Add your payment destination to the “policies” section of your Shop Settings.
- Provide your tax and contact information.
- Sellers in the US: Add your tax ID and contact info to the Tax ID section of your Reverb account.
- Sellers outside of the US: Add your tax ID and contact info to the tax profile section of your Reverb account.
If your account is locked for any other reason, you should have received an email from Reverb Support. To continue using Reverb, please reply directly to the email and Reverb Support will help you provide the information needed to unlock your account.
If your account is locked, you are unable to:
- Publish a new listing
- Sell a listing
- Send direct offers
- Enable or disable Vacation Mode
If your account is locked, you can continue to:
- Send and receive messages
- Update your Shop settings
- Leave feedback
- Purchase or make offers on items
- Purchase Reverb Gift Cards
- Favorite items, searches, and shops
- Create a draft listing
- Update or end listings
- Add tracking to an order
- Refund an order
- Receive payment for an order
- Pay an unpaid bill
- Export your listings
- Create or edit a sale
- Update your account password
- Edit email preferences
- Update your Collection
