Hello, how can we help you?

How do I cancel an order?

Quick answer

Reverb sellers have the ability to cancel their sales from their Orders page. If a buyer wishes to cancel an order, contacting the seller is the best way of doing so.

If for any reason you are unable to fulfill an order, we advise that you message the buyer via the order messages before canceling the order. If the buyer already submitted payment, you must issue the buyer a full refund.

How to cancel a Reverb order

  1. Head to your Orders page.
  2. View your Unpaid Orders.
  3. Select "Cancel Order".
  4. Select the Reason for Cancellation from the drop-down menu.
  5. You can select "Relist item for sale" if you want it back up on the site.
  6. Select "Cancel Order".

This should then show as a cancelled order. Ensure the buyer is notified and you are all set.

Reverb allows buyers 72 hours to submit payment on accepted offers. We ask that you honor that timeline before canceling.

I purchased an item and I want to cancel it

If you bought something on Reverb and are needing to cancel the order, make sure to contact the seller. This should be done first before contacting Reverb Support.

Make sure to review the seller's shop policies on the item and get in touch with the seller before shipping something back for a return.
