Do I have to use Reverb Payments to get paid?

Quick answer

As of May 19, 2020, Reverb Payments is the exclusive way to get paid for all sellers in the US and Canada. As of July 2023, new sellers located in these countries will only have Reverb Payments as an available payment option. When an item sells, your funds will simply be deposited directly into your bank account.

  1. What if I don’t have a bank account?
    You’ll need to add a bank account so Reverb can pay you.

  2. Is there any other way to get my money?
    Sellers in the US and Canada are required to onboard to Reverb Payments to sell on Reverb. Reverb Payments is also available in many other countries. If Reverb Payments is not available in your country, learn how to get paid with PayPal.

  3. What if a buyer wants to pay me via PayPal?
    With Reverb Payments, buyers can still pay you via PayPal, but you are instead paid out to your bank account.

  4. How long will it take after I sell something to get my money in my bank account?
    Depending on your specific bank, earnings may take 1-4 business days to appear in your bank account after being initiated by Reverb.

  5. Can I use my payout balance to buy items on Reverb?
    No. You'll need to withdraw your payout balance to your bank account before spending it on Reverb.

  6. Why do I have to use Reverb Payments?
    Reverb Payments makes it simple and safe for buyers to purchase from you, no matter what payment method they prefer. Reverb handles fraud prevention and chargeback risk. When a payment is verified, the funds are deposited directly into your bank account.
