What to know about these new features
All-in 5% fee
Reverb sellers in the UK will pay an all-in 5% fee once their music gear has sold, eliminating payment processing fees. Additional taxes may apply.
Note that sellers also have the option to add Bump to their listings and/or purchase discounted postage labels after they've made a sale, incurring additional fees.
If you choose to list your item for sale internationally and it sells to a buyer located outside of the UK, you will incur an additional 1% cross border fee.
What happens if a buyer refunds their order?
Sellers in the UK will be refunded the entire 5% selling fee with full refunds. This fee is not prorated on partial refunds.
Discounted UK postage labels purchased through Reverb
Sellers in the UK can now purchase discounted postage labels directly through Reverb. There are currently three carriers to choose from:
- DPD
- Yodel
- Evri
Is there shipping protection for UK postage labels?
At this time, sellers in the UK purchasing a postage label through Reverb will need to go through a third party postage insurance company if you want your shipment protected. Reverb is currently looking into adding postage protection for UK sellers and will provide more information once this becomes available.
What other kinds of postage labels are available?
Sellers can purchase additional postage labels if an order requires multiple boxes, in addition to return postage labels if the buyer is returning their music gear.
Pricing guidance
New UK-specific price guidance can be found in the Reverb Price Guide and during the listing process. As you create your listing, Reverb will recommend the best price based on historical data for the item you’re selling.
When you select View Live and Sold Prices, this page will have links to actual sold listings and will only show sold items from the UK market.
