How is selling in-store different from listing on Reverb?
Selling in-store through Reverb has three main differences from creating a listing:
- Skip the listing and shipping, and drop off your item at a participating shop near you.
- Receive faster payments since you don’t have to wait for your item to sell.
- There are zero selling fees for selling in-store.

- Conditions: Good, Very Good, Excellent, Mint.
- No modifications.
- Other factors based on popularity and sales history on the Reverb platform.
- If your gear is eligible, you'll be offered the option to sell in-store after selecting a product in the sell form.
How is the instant price offer determined?
Appraisal prices for each condition are based on historical sales data on Reverb. The appraisal prices are lower than what you might get selling directly on Reverb because we factor in the effort required for a dealer to handle the selling process for you, including: storing, photographing, listing, and shipping the item once sold.
That said, retailers will be evaluating and pricing your gear based on the conditions below.

To sell in-store through Reverb:
- Select Sell your gear on the web, or Sell on the bottom of the app.
- Type your item into the search bar and select the product you’re selling on the following page. If the gear isn’t listed, it won’t qualify to be sold in-store.
- If your gear and location are eligible, you’ll see the Sell in-store button to begin the process.
-
Fill out the form, then you will see a confirmation and instant price
offer for the in-store sale. When you select
Yes, I want to sell in-store, the dealer is also
notified
of this.
- If you decide not to complete the form, you can select No, I don’t want to sell in-store and leave us feedback so we can improve this offering.
- Next, you will receive an email with details for completing the sale, including the estimated price based on gear condition, where the retailer is located, and the date in which your gear needs to be dropped off by. All gear must be dropped off to the retailer within 5 days to receive the initial price offered.
The offer price you receive will only be valid until the displayed drop-off date. If you drop off your gear past this date, the retailer will give you Reverb’s new offer based on the Reverb Price Guide.
- The retailer will assess your gear to confirm its condition. This will determine the final price you’ll receive.
- After the retailer accepts your item, Reverb Credits will immediately be deposited in your Reverb account. You can then transfer the credits to your bank account, which will take an additional 1 - 4 business days to process.
You can keep record of your Reverb in-store sales through the confirmation emails and in your Earnings page (upon completed in-store sales).
