How it works
- Choose it at checkout. If the listing is eligible, you'll see Ship to a pickup store. Select it and pick a store near you.
- Wait for the ready-for-pickup email. We'll email you when your gear is ready to collect.
- Bring your ID. Collect your package within 7 days of it arriving at the store. The name on your ID needs to match the name on the order.
Which items are eligible
Eligible listings will have the “Pick up nearby” text displayed under the listing’s shipping cost.
Two things have to be true:
- The seller has enabled pickup store delivery for the listing.
- The item is no more than 38″ in length and under 44 lbs.
If you don't see the option, one of those conditions isn't met. Guitars and larger amps won't qualify.

In addition to UPS Stores, other locations are:
- Staples
- CVS
- Michael’s
- Local stores (drug stores, hardware stores, minimarts, etc.)
Available locations vary by area, so the list you see at checkout is the accurate one for your address.
FAQs
What happens if I don’t pick up my package within 7 days of delivery?
We'll send you email reminders before your pickup deadline. If the package still isn't collected within 7 days of arriving at the store, it'll be returned to the seller, who will then need to issue a refund. Refunds are issued once the package is back with the seller, and they may withhold shipping costs from the amount refunded to you.
How does the 7-day protection window work with Reverb Buyer Protection and Safe Shipping for items delivered to a pickup store?
Your 7-day window begins once you’ve picked up your package, so be sure to report any issues through Reverb during that timeframe.
Can I change my pickup store after I place the order?
No, orders can't be edited once created. You'll need to request a refund and place a new order with the store you want.
Can someone else pick up my package for me?
No, the person who placed the order needs to pick it up with a matching government issued photo ID.
Should I inspect my gear before I leave the store?
We recommend it. Check the box for damage while you're still at the counter, and take photos before and after opening it. If something's wrong, message the seller right away.
Can I return an item through a pickup store?
All the UPS pickup store locations have a partnership with UPS, so as long as you’re returning something with a UPS shipping label, you can drop off your return with that store.
