Recent changes to the payment processing fee for Reverb Payments

As of October 27, Reverb’s payment processing fee has changed:

  • For sellers using Reverb Payments, the payment processing fee is 3.19% of the transaction amount + $0.49 per transaction.
  • For Reverb Preferred Sellers, the payment processing fee is 2.99% of the transaction amount + $0.49 per transaction.

Why did the payment processing fee for Reverb Payments change?

Credit card companies have increased the fees they charge Reverb. While we’ve kept our payment processing fee the same for the past 10 years, it’s become increasingly more expensive to process payments.

Does this change apply to all sellers?

This payment processing fee change applies to all sellers using Reverb Payments. If Reverb Payments is not available in your region, you should refer to the PayPal Payment Processing Fees.

When did this change go into effect?

This change went into effect at 12 a.m. CT on October 27, 2022.

What is a payment processing fee?

Payment processing fees are charged on all orders. They cover the cost of processing a buyer’s payment. This fee is separate from the 5% selling fee. You can learn more about payment processing fees here.
