We built our shipping tools for music gear and the people who sell it. Save time and money with discounted shipping labels, add protection to keep your gear secure in transit, and give local buyers the option to pick up in person. You can choose from several options depending on your location.

Reverb’s recommended shipping options
These are the default options we recommend that every seller use to help you sell your gear quickly and securely.
Reverb calculated shipping
Take the guesswork out of setting a shipping price for your listing. Our shipping calculator automatically determines the shipping cost based on your location and the buyer’s, along with the package’s weight and dimensions. Learn more about how calculated shipping works.
Safe Shipping
Add Safe Shipping to any Reverb label and you’re covered if your gear is lost or damaged in transit, at no cost to you. Buyers simply pay a small fee as part of their shipping costs. As long as issues are reported within 7 days of delivery, our team will work with you and the buyer so you can avoid dealing with the carrier.
Local pickup
When you enable local pickup, buyers nearby can meet you to collect the item rather than having it shipped. When meeting with the buyer, make sure they mark the item as ‘received’ on the order. Learn more about how local pickup works.
Note that local pickup is not available for sellers using PayPal to get paid or for buyers paying via PayPal or Affirm.
Additional shipping options
More ways to customize shipping for your listings.
Free shipping
This is exactly as it sounds: You’re offering free shipping to your buyers, which makes your listing more attractive. Note that with this option, you’ll pay for shipping.
Pro tip: You can adjust the listing’s price to make up for the cost.
Flat rate shipping
You can set a flat shipping price for buyers in your selected region(s). The price you enter will be the shipping cost to all buyers in the set region(s). Keeping that rate competitive can give you an edge since buyers often factor shipping cost into their purchasing decision.

International shipping
When creating a listing, you can determine where else in the world you’ll ship under Other shipping regions. Providing international shipping gets your listing in front of more buyers. You can add as many regions as you want and can enter your desired shipping rate or provide free shipping. Learn more about shipping globally in our international shipping guide.
Note that with this option, for some regions, you may be charged an additional 1% cross border fee.

Combine and save
This option allows you to offer discounted shipping rates to your buyers when they purchase multiple items from your shop, encouraging them to buy more from you. When a buyer has multiple items from your shop in their cart, they pay full shipping on the item with the most expensive rate, then your discounted combined rate on each additional item. Free shipping threshold
Offer free shipping when buyers spend over a set amount in your shop. Reverb will then promote your shop in their cart to encourage them to hit the threshold.
2-day shipping
For sellers with the “quick shipper” badge, you can offer free 2-day shipping on your listings to attract even more buyers who need their gear quickly. Just be sure to ship within 1 business day of the order being approved via a carrier that offers a two day delivery service.
Note that 2-day shipping does not apply to orders made via negotiated offers.
Shipping profiles
Do you sell regularly on Reverb? Creating shipping profiles lets you list items faster by setting up rates once and applying them to similar items (e.g. items of the same size or category that cost the same to ship). After configuring a shipping profile, you'll be able to select and apply it the next time you list an item. Set up your shipping profile.
