Where to find your insights
- On the web: the Insights panel on the upper-left side of your Listings page.
- In the app: tap Insights at the bottom of My Listings. Insights also appear as labels on each listing in this page.
Insights filters
Select any filter to see which listings have that insight and what you can do about it. The exact recommendations you see vary based on the type of gear you're selling.
Pricing (used listings only)
-
Priced above average: Based on our Price Guide and sales history, our system is letting you know that your listing is priced higher than what comparable items in the same condition are selling for. The recommendation is a price drop to the competitive price. If you drop your price by 5% or more, Reverb notifies buyers who have saved your listing. If buyers have saved your item, the recommendation tells you how many buyers that notification will reach. Competitively priced gear often sells within 7 days.
- Select the Adjust price button on the listing, where Reverb will recommend a more competitive price.
- If you drop the price by at least 5%, buyers who have saved your listing or have it in their shopping cart will be notified of the price adjustment.
Engagement
-
Has saves: Buyers have saved your listing by selecting the heart icon on your listing.
- If you don’t have many saves, it's a good indication that your listing could be stronger — especially if there’s a lot of competition. Try dropping the price, making sure your photos and description are detailed, and considering free or calculated shipping.
- In shopping carts: Your listing is currently in a buyer’s shopping cart.
- Likely to sell with offers: Your listing has buyers saving or holding it in a cart, has been live at least 14 days, and you've already dropped the price by at least 5% (without a sale). Rather than lowering the price again, the recommendation is to turn on Direct Offers and negotiate privately with the buyers who are already interested.
Visibility (US only)
-
Renew eligible: Your listing has been live more than 60 days and hasn't been renewed before. Renewing gives an aged listing a fresh opportunity to attract buyers. Learn more about renewing listings.
- This is currently available to sellers outside the US and Japan, plus select US shops.
- Top pick winner: Your listing is winning the top pick slot on the product page.
- Top pick eligible: When a product page has no brand new inventory, your used listing can win the featured slot. To qualify, your listing needs to be connected to a product page and priced at or below the competitive price. Reverb won't recommend promoting a listing that's priced above the market.
- Low visibility: These are non-Bumped listings that are being grouped in general search results. They’re only visible in search when buyers filter to “Brand New”, and only visible on the product page by selecting the View More Brand New button.
The top pick is chosen from brand new listings for that product. On product pages with no brand new inventory, used listings compete for the spot instead as long as they're priced at or below the competitive price.
For Top pick eligible and Low visibility, the recommended action is to Bump your listing. On the listing, select the Promote with Bump button where you can use Reverb’s recommended Bump rate or create your own.
